Twigs is an iPhone app that shows posts from accounts and publications you choose. This policy explains what information Twigs handles and where it goes.
Twigs has no user accounts of its own and no server of its own. It contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking code, and it does not sell or share your information.
The accounts and feeds you add, your lists, muted words, reading position, and a cache of recent posts and images are stored only on your device. Sign-in tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device. Deleting the app deletes this information.
If Twigs hangs or crashes, iOS may give Twigs a report of what happened, such as where in the app it was stuck. Twigs keeps these reports on your device and never sends them anywhere. You can share them yourself, for example with the developer, from About Twigs, or delete them there.
To show your feed, Twigs connects directly from your device to the services you've added, such as Bluesky, your Mastodon server, YouTube, Substack, or a website's RSS feed. Those services receive the requests your device makes, including your IP address, under their own privacy policies.
Twigs is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
